Colton's Bedroom Furniture

We finally bought all of Colton's bedroom furniture. For awhile I wanted to go with white but then decided that the dark wood looked a lot better. Joe could'nt understand why we had to get the crib now if we were'nt going to be using it for a few months. I told him it's because I liked that certain one and I'd rather get everything at once instead of going back later and them not even having the crib I wanted. Men just don't understand!

32 Weeks

I am now 32 weeks and have only 8 more to go. I remember thinking at the beginning it seemed like forever to even get to the third trimester. Crazy how fast time flys! I've certainly enjoyed being pregnant and have had nothing to complain about except for the HOT and HUMID Texas weather! I know it's just going to get even worse in my last month...Atleast that's what i've been told. I just try to stay in the air condition as much as possible. When I lay down to try and go to sleep at night that's when Colton is most active which keeps me up...It's so neat to sit there and feel his feet and elbows. There's times that I will tell Joe "Ouch he's digging into my ribs" and Joe gives him little spankings and will tell him "That's not nice Colton...You're hurting mommy." It's cute to listen to him talk and play with Colton. What a good dad he is going to be!

Baby Shower at Work

So today was my last day working at Suntrac. The girls put together a small baby shower and secretly invited Joe without me knowing. What a good suprise! Glad he was there to spend my last day with me and help open gifts. Joe had a good time checking out Colton's clothes and hoping they would fit him too. The best gift was the pink headbands and pink crib sheets...Thanks Luka! I'm sure Joe would love to see Colton in a pink headband. What do you think?
